Re: URL design for searches and queries
Yes, we do something like this now with Webglimpse search engine, it takes just a bit of apache configuring but if you search at http://bTucson.com all the search results appear at http://btucson.com/search/queryterm
It also lets us save some server time by caching the search results as static HTML pages, and it helps Google find them too. The next step will be to let users make notes on the search pages…
