Re: Sleeping 'til 6am
Our kids are probably a bit older than yours, but we told our early risers that they were not to get out of their rooms before 7am. We encouraged them to have “quiet reading time” until the clock in their room pointed to the 7 and the 12. This worked pretty good after they turned 4 and stands to this day.
For much younger children, we instructed them to stay in their bed until Mommy or Daddy came to get them, unless they needed to go to the bathroom.
