names

I was going to suggest pidgin but that (according to wikipedia) is already taken (as a result of the kind of legal hassle over names that you want to avoid:-) wikipedia again suggests creole already has software meanings (a php module) so adding another one isn’t so bad…

would they be happy with CreoleNG the trailing NG helps to distinguish from the rather more generic “creole” name and is of course a nod to one of the motivating languages?

after the best part of 20 years being associated to the latex typesetting system, I’d recommend avoiding using any name that suggests that your system might be related to unorthodox private behaviour:-)
