Hi Jeni,

Actually I see maybe one reason to avoid namespace binding declarations on the stylesheet element, in regard to “security”: one cannot then use @extension-element-prefixes.

Though I don’t say it is a good idea, and there are number other ways to use extensions in a stylesheet…
