Preparing dinner. Our three-year-old suddenly exclaims, “Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!”

Too much Bob the Builder (who, for those without three-year-olds, has decamped to “Sunflower Valley” and now lives a zero-carbon lifestyle, constructing eco-friendly sunflower-oil-extraction factories and the like).

Get ‘em young, that’s what I say.

Beware though, some may be more taken with the idea that it’s a good idea to drive along the road just hanging on to the outside of a moving vehicle, without bothering with such inconveniences as seat belts (or a recognised life form at the controls) than they are with any ecological correctness….
